Stormy Leather is pleased to
announce the gallery opening of fetish photographer, Geoffrey
Transu. This is the
first in a series of gallery’s offered by Stormy Leather this
summer in their newly remodeled gallery space. Transu’s stunning
work will be on display for the month of June. Peering through the lens, photographer Geoffrey Transu, sheds immense
amounts of light on the exquisiteness of fetish. For Tansu, an erotic
image must contain some sense of mystery or even pose questions to
the viewer. For this reason his fetish images tend not to be as graphic
as some found in the genre but, rather focuses on the imagination of
the viewer. He realizes that beauty is in the eye of the beholder therefore
he creates work that centers on the mind's eye of your own erotic being.
In a time when the digital camera is God, Transu still works mainly
with film; giving an old world and somewhat whimsical feel to his photography. “I like the freedom and creativity of working with fully manual
cameras, even if on occasion that includes the freedom to screw up.”--Transu
